Is there a specific reason why people don't wear them in America or refuse to? I mean I don't like wearing them but whenever I go into a store I always wear it. I can understand not wearing one if you're just walking along the street alone, but why wouldn't you wear one in a store?  I mean even if you thought they weren't much good, simply out of courtesy for the store owners?

exactly why is it such an issue? I would hate to wear one for hours on end like some people having to at work but to wear it for 10 minutes in a store is no issue
