Wait so you already had the virus and potential antibodies but still somehow got both doses of the vaccine ahead of millions of elderly (highest risk group) that haven't received it yet?  Are you a front line worker?

Yes, I work in Oncology (the highest highest risk group) CDC recommends an individual with a past history of COVID should still get the vaccine.

Rich people can do things most of us can't.  Flying private, isolate in any country they choose.

The only argument against it seems to be that it rubs it in the faces of poor people, like every single one of us on GGD.  :toofunny:

Personally, it doesn't bother me, but I do think celebrities should keep it off Instagram and enjoy their privilege in privacy, but I don't really care.

Agreed.

Grossed more money with this mini tour than the prismatic world tour with a million dates.

Madonna's tour grossed $51 million with 75 dates. Katy's did $200 million with 151 dates. So her mini tour did NOT gross more.

I see.  Another question: why are you saying you are "not even immune" if you got antibodies and also have had both vaccine shots?  Isn't that the point of the vaccines - so people can become immune/not be affected by the virus?  And are you suggesting that, even once we are all vaccinated, we should continue to limit our travel and wear masks forever?  What would be the reason for this once we are vaccinated/achieve herd immunity?

eh. i know it probably isn't the best thing to do right now. but she definitely has the resources to make that trip as safe as possible. i mean... she wouldn't put herself and all of her kids in such risk. at least she is not just going on vacation but is doing things for a great purpose there. in one of her ig videos you could even see her getting tested so i'm sure that they're taking good care.

I'm just thinking of airport landing and interactions and whoever she has to bring along to help her (like security)

It doesn't feel very responsible to me

Travelling right now should be kept to emergencies and necessities only.

This is how and why mutated strains get discovered in 1 country and next week you find out it's already spread in the whole dam planet :saladga:

wow what a news, you all have so much free time. first they all had to be tested before starting the journey. if they are all negative and there is no covid_19, they dont need to have masks

yeah because the test guaranteed that there's no covid in their destination. i mean, PCR test is detection, not prevention.

From what we know, the vaccine stops us from getting sick with the virus. There is currently not enough data to prove whether or not we can still be carriers of COVID. This means that, even though I may not become sick or show symptoms, I can still become reinfected and pass the virus into others.

It’s a really complicated situation right now due to the fact the vaccine was released under emergency authorization. We will have to wait and see.
