I feel like security will be beefed up enough at DC that they "ought" (hopefully) to be okay. But those insane freaks have been making plans to march on state capitols where the layout, etc. makes them much, much harder to defend. I follow Tim Alberta on twitter, even though I disagree with him politically on a lot of stuff, because he's super connected and has a ton of sources. He's very, very worried about future attacks right now and he's not prone to hyperbole usually so if he's worried something bad will go down.... My fear is that Republican state capitols won't realize that they're also a perceived "threat" to these terrorists. Just how some Republicans that were evacuating were excited that the crowds were breaking in, they won't realize until its too late that they aren't going to lookup your history before they choose what to do with you. Also, yea, the inauguration is going to be live-streamed but not in public, so I don't really have any fear about that. My biggest fear is that these loons will attempt violence AFTER that date too. Yeah, I'm terrified the inauguration is going to be in a very public place in a "we won't let the terrorists" win sort of way...which could backfire spectacularly.
