Mr Salmond's comments emerged in a written submission to a separate investigation into whether the first minister breached the ministerial code. The submission has been shared with the Holyrood committee. Ms Sturgeon says she "entirely rejects Mr Salmond's claims". bionic 50,111 Posted January 10, 2021 Share Posted January 10, 2021 Reading that BBC article, I can't wrap my head around this scenario and what the beef is I was expecting the complaint to be about Sturgeon denying she knew about the accusations before they were made public (which I could believe to be false), but apparently Salmond still denies the allegations and his problem is that she wasn't honest about meetings with him Looks like a lot of baggage for the pair of them (isn't Salmond a Russian shill now?). I think Sturgeon needs to prepare to move aside and find a new generation of leadership (wasn't she Salmon's protege?) after they sweep the Scottish Parliament elections. I genuinely don’t understand how the FM ‘mislead’ parliament and don’t have an opinion on it. Her standing down wouldn’t do the SNP any favours and tbh they are nobody within the SNP that could replace her. I hated Salmond (still do) with a passion. He always rubbed me up the wrong way tbh, the fact he was found not guilty, I feel Nicola Sturgeon ‘misleading’ parliament could run a lot deeper than the news and the tories are stating it Together You And I!
