Guest Posted January 10, 2021 Share Posted January 10, 2021 After the whole "Chromatica era is over" post, I've seen so many people talking about how Gaga's music career is over?! Shallow was one of the biggest hits of all time as well as the whole ASIB album, ROM and SL become some of her signature hits this year and Chromatica did well sales wise and gave her a new record in streaming despite being called "streaming poison". My point is that Gaga's music career is fine atm, yes promo would of helped the album have bigger numbers in all areas but if she's proved she can make a comeback after ARTPOP the what would stop her in the future? I'm not throwing a tantrum btw lol, just some people need to stop overreacting. I personally think Gaga has passions for other types of music and I can't wait to see how thats gonna tie into LG7, she hasn't forgot where she's come from and will continue to make albums in the future so chill lol. Shallow is still getting amazing updates and is about to become the 30th most streamed song in Spotify history. Wixson 5,004 Posted January 10, 2021 Share Posted January 10, 2021 I know we're all on a forum about our favorite musician and the whole point of it is to get closer to like-minded people and discuss everything related to her, but at the end of the day their tantrums and your threads about "setting the record straight" and all that jazz makes no difference. We just keep getting frustrated over and over again and nothing changes. There's a lot of people here who need to start getting jobs, diving into hobbies and doing something useful with their lives. The fact that she did everything in her power to become famous and a popstar and now she is hiding and was depressed for a very long time before Chromatica because of it. I knew she hated touring like every artist does but being obliged to do it every era was connecting her to all of us and now that she cannot tour she has 0 motivation to even interact with us or promote her music. Fine do not perform or promote but we waited 2 years after ASIB and not even a listening party that costs nothing but 1 hour of her time?
