Indonesian plane goes missing

I swear all these planes that go missing are always Boeing 737’s?  it’s the only time I hear about this plane

i hope there are survivors, what a god awful experience that would be

We are talking about airlines/safety... at least in Europe the pilots go to training + simulator every 6 months. Let's just wait before we blame someone  it's terrifying how they descended 10.000ft in less than 60 seconds. Hopefully we will get to know what happened

I currently fly the B737-800 and my airline is expecting 100s of orders of the MAX

yeah, but considering how intense and thorough the software tests have been, its safe to assume the MAX model is one of the safest planest atm

No, it was not max. It was Boeing 737-500

Okey guys so....I think I know what's going on. The 737 aircrafts are new updated planes. 

Boeing decided, "we want to update the plane but... It takes too much money to design a plane, so we're going to take the engine and put them on the other side of the wings." It didn't make sense, because the plane was no longer balanced, so they introduced software that would bring the nose down whenever it encountered a tilting issue but they didn't tell the pilots about it. So, and it's always right after take off, the plane starts pulling the nose down, and the pilot tries to fight it. Not understanding what is going on. The plane literally drives itself into the ground. 

Boeing has been ****ing up for YEARS. Taking parts that don't work from piles, because they couldn't wait long enough for the correct part. (when a part is made incorrectly, it's painted and thrown into piles.) 

Anyway, the FAA said the plane was ready to go. And because it's an American company, they're in charge. They let the software through and didn't tell pilots. It was out of rotation for... 13 months? While they fixed it.

They said they removed the software, and they told pilots the issue. The engines are in the same ****ing place. The plane is still unbalanced. No one should be riding on that plane. 

I understand if someone has to go somewhere but... I don't trust Boeing.

They haven't changed their quality control issues. Even if the software is fixed, they've been rushing planes out the door for nearly a decade. Just because they didn't want to be late and incur fees due to being behind.

Multiple 737 planes have crashed ever since.

Are you sure? It lost altitude very quickly they said, right after departure. I was just talking about what I knew. I can be wrong though.
