It has a more Gaga feel to the album. It isn’t just a basic ‘country’ album people portray it as, it covers so many elements - dance, electro, bluegrass, reggae, folk, jazz, rock whereas Chromatica has a very similar sound through it and sounds very tailored towards the radio

joanne is all over the place and quite frankly, inconsistent

So is ARTPOP but it works together as an album

In Gaga's own words Joanne was futile. She scrapped the original LG5 in hopes to 'heal' her father's decades long pain with a rather mediocre song (Joanne). The second half of the album is full of filler. Million Reasons was a moment but that's about it.

I prefer the 2nd half by far

All of her work is creative, but half of Joanne doesn't seem very innovative to me. Especially Sinner's Prayer, Million Reasons, etc. It's old news.

So I disagree, politely lol

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

Gaga's only “consistent” albums are The Fame and Chromatica though (and TFM too, kind of, but that's just 8 tracks)

Fillers don’t exist. Every song was created by Gaga and was written specifically for Joanne. Every song deserves its place

I find the opposite - I couldn’t imagine any other current artists creating a 60 style groove for a folk/country/blue grass song

Songs like Hey Girl, Sinners Prayer, Angel Down and Grigio Girls sound like failed attempts to be personal, political, woke or mature. I just feel like they didn't hit their mark and it drags the album down. In no way are they bad songs. They are just not memorable at all to me. But that's just my opinion of course.
