JRCF29 8,230
We know there will be a lot of votes for Ossoff and Warnock out of DeKalb. The question is how many exactly? Right now, the margins for Perdue and Loeffler are 3% and 2%, respectively, so it will take a sizable chunk of votes to a) take the lead and b) do so by more than 0.5%, avoiding a runoff Don't Call Me Gaga
caulixtla 2,170
Big DeCalb drop just came in! Warnock (D) is now in the lead, and Ossoff only needs 3,121 more votes to take the lead. YES! It’s finally happening! https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/01/05/us/elections/results-georgia-runoffs.html My music: https://caulixtla.com/music

caulixtla 2,170
Ossoff now needs 15,610 votes to get the lead. DeKalb country might still have enough remaining votes to give it to Ossoff, but while Warnock looks to win at this point, the Ossoff team is going to have a long night. JRCF29 8,230
Thus far, DeKalb hasn't given Dems the boost they needed to avoid a recount, setting up a scenario where this race bleeds into Wednesday, as Washington faces some high drama of its own Don't Call Me Gaga
