Eleven years ago, Lana Del Rey released her first studio album Lana Del Ray A.K.A. Lizzy Grant.

Musically the album is a quirky mixture of alternative, indie pop, folk and rock with touches of jazz, electronica, house and blues. The album kind of became a deep cut and a classic in Lana's discography and Lana even went as far to express her interest in a re-release.

What are your favorite songs from this album?

Yayo is such a classic. I was just elated when she re-recorded it with full major label production for the Paradise EP

I love how it has no genre or distinct rhythm really, kind of like an abstract painting as a song.

Was "Kinda Outta Luck" from this album? Love that track, great storytelling

I really like this album, too bad it's not available anywhere. Does anyone know if she owns its masters?

if not, she should re-record and release it :diane:

I really wish this was available on more streaming sites and/or that she would reissue it. My favorites are Kill, Kill, Pawn Shop Blues, and Mermaid Motel.

Kinda Outta Luck was on Lana's original soundcloud and she uploaded it to youtube (I think she later deleted it), but was never released.
