Would you be here for another Joanne sounding album?

I think she carried the acoustic sound / songwriter persona for most of the 2010's decade. Don't get me wrong, I love Cheek To Cheek, Joanne and A Star Is Born and I appreciate that we have those albums because it showed Gaga evolving as an artist but I don't think I'm ready to go back there yet. I've been enjoying Chromatica so much this year, I hope LG7 is another great dance surprise. If the next project is the Cole Porter covers album with Tony then I'm here for it as well, love seeing them perform together and he's not getting any younger obviously so I hope it's not too late.

YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!

Joanne is my most Gaga’s favorite album (probably my all-time favorite album). But this time, I’d love to have it leaning more to the rock side like Perfect Illusion or Diamond Heart though with a touch of country (similar to Plastic Hearts by Miley). Imagine another rock-country album from Gaga....:enigma:

I think all stans would disagree with me and wanna slap me in the face but Rock-Country Gaga are much better than PopGa.

Yes but not right away, but I don’t think I want a traditional dance pop album next either unless it’s soon and continuation of Chromatica. I say this reluctantly as I’m starting to feel we/other listeners lean too closely into describing her as ‘dance’ and it’s a bit limiting IMO

I love Joanne and I think this kind music suits her, but I think while I enjoy the country flavoured stuff she’s put out, I’d rather her explore the rockier side of things or at least other styles. I think her and Mark make magic and I’d love to see what she’d be like with something closer to ‘Back To Black’ (the song) or things like ‘True Blue’ and ‘Late Night Feelings’

No because Joanne sounds unfinished. The majority of the album sounds like demos. Maybe if it were polished more, and had more songs than 12, I could be here for it. But certainly not for a Joanne 2.0

No country for f*ck's sake! I am all open for A Star Is Born 2.0, but not Joanne, I like half of Joanne and detest the other half. I am open for dance, electronic, EDM, House, Rock, Metal, plain pop, I would love a ballad album, but I can't stand another Joanne era.

Gaga doesn't need to prove herself anymore, she can do whatever she wants, but if she releases another Joanne I will just focus on other stuff. Chromatica is my favorite album in 10 years.

Another ARTPOP era would be good too.

I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

I’d love for her to have a Joanne type album but focus solely on her emotions with it - although I love John Wayne and Dancin In Circles, an album focused more on her personal stories and life would give me life.

And yes, I know her music is personal but would love a ballad/piano focused album with these themes.

Yes, I would love an album with similar feel of Joanne. A mixture of country/rock and hints of pop

I would SOOO be here for it. I think Joanne had so much potential, but its main problems were: (1) a lot of fans found it too boring since many fans expect Gaga to shock and (2) Gaga's public image was still unfortunately suffering post-ARTPOP (she was written off in the minds of many people).

I think a return to Joanne-influenced music would be so fitting now that fans and the GP have a new perspective on Gaga. ASIB demonstrated that the GP would eat up a good Gaga ballad. I also think the GP would take her music much more seriously now that we've seen her as a "serious" actress (in other words, Gaga can now be viewed as Adele's peer rather than Katy Perry's). With the pandemic going on, I think lots of people are turning towards quieter and somber music, which is why folklore/evermore worked so well. And if Gaga releases a Joanne 2.0, PopGa fans wouldn't have a reason to complain since she just released Chromatica, her strongest collection of dancepop songs in years.

However, I wouldn't want Gaga to simply put out an updated version of Joanne. I'd want it to shine lyrically in ways that Joanne failed to connect with the listener. I'd also like it to take small sonic risks similar to Kacey Musgraves' Golden Hour, which was a country album that very subtly interpolated electronica and disco elements. But that's just my wish lol.

After Chromatica, yes please. At least an evolution of it.

I was listening to "Look What I Found" the other day, and realized how well everything fit together. I would love for her to go that route a bit more.

3 points in and ready for more
