Would you be here for another Joanne sounding album?

just wondering. been listening to it a lot now that she went back to her roots in dance music. I never disliked Joanne as an album, except for the album version of Angel Down (work tape version is so much better) but now that she's returned to dance music it makes me like it even more and I would definitely be here for another album that is similar sonically.

Perhaps I've been listening to too much folklore/evermore. :koons:

I love Joanne, and if Gaga released albums every year then I'd be fine with another one. But as it stands, no.

I really love Joanne, but I wanna experience another pop era since nothing happened with Chromatica.

I would not like to have a new album with the SAME sound (she never repeated the exact same sound), but as you said, a similar one, YES :enigma:

What does a Joanne sounding album imply? Country ballads like Million Reasons and Sinners Prayer? Pop-Rock like Perfect Illusion and Diamond Heart? Dance-pop like John Wayne and Dancing In Circles? Jazzier / “throwback” sounding songs like Come To Mama and Just Another Day? IMO Joanne is just a demo of the ASIB soundtrack :laughga: So I guess if we get another assortment album like them I hope it sounds as polished and vocally clean as the soundtrack.

No not really. Thematically? Sure! But I’d rather a personal album be power ballads. (I know chromatica was very personal as well, but you get me)

THIS! I loved Joanne but it had its flaws. I would love an album she wrote and produced the majority of herself. Power ballads galore and more her playing piano.

tbh i really want a ballad album ... something adele 25 vibes

because tbh in ASIB the standout for me is ARUTW, ITA, and INLA .. and C2C solos too .. BRUH IMAGINE THE POWER LOL

(girl .. the jazz and piano show always sold out i think .. because they prefer that classy gaga)

This!!!! Ballads where you can tell she’s really feeling herself are where she excels. For me it’s when I compare the 1000 Doves Demo to the original. The passion in her voice changes completely.

Absolutely, she absolutely served during that era and I loved her looks. I am forever waiting for like a led zeppelin iii style album tbh

While this may not be the most popular opinion, I'd love a ballad album.  She has nothing to prove, and some people would probably get angry, but I'd be all for it.  Joanne was a powerful album.  I would love to have seen more singles and videos, but it was overall beautiful.

The main difference with a Joanne-like or all ballad album would be my hope that she's in a good space mentally and emotionally when completing it.  One of the many things I admire about Gaga is that she puts her heart and soul into her work.  She's truly and artist, however she's human.
