dynamite 66,566
Does anyone know when the death rates will be expected to fall? Given that the vulnerable are the ones being prioritised for the vaccine and they are in much smaller numbers compared to the overall population is it likely that we should see a drop soon if we haven't already? In theory yes we should see a drop soon given most countries are prioritizing the elderly However we wouldn't have seen it already and it may still be another month or two before we start to see the impact of vaccines on death rates because it takes time for the vaccine to kick in immunity, up to a month in fact. So anyone that got the vaccine now it doesn't help them if they were already infected (and maybe not know it yet) and it still doesn't help them if they are exposed right after So we likely won't see any innitial drop in death rates until February at the earliest

Nnnn. Our president even said last year that by December, we would be back to normal and yet we are still in lockdown. Kii. But to be fair, he did not specify the year.
