Trinity The Tuck x Farrah Moan feud over COVID

So, Farrah Moan and Trinity The Tuck Taylor got into a fight because they have different opinions on how to approach the pandemic. Trinity is doing gigs during the pandemic crysis and Farrah says the right thing to do is to stay at home since drag shows aren't essential work.

I think it's the first fight of the year and I am 200% Team Farrah, I never really liked Triity anyway.

I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

They both have valid points however I agree with Farah! Putting people's lives at risk to perform at a crowded bar (like some queens have been doing) is just plain stupid. Why can't some queens do online performances? They make money off merch and many other things.

I've been noticing as well that some queens performing haven't been wearing masks and getting close to the audience, not a good look tbh.

@Mer Boy's opinions on everything are like a cow's opinions. They don't matter. They're moo

I see both sides. A lot of people have taken a hit in the last year, and while drag is hardly an essential service and it's irresponsible for people to go to bars I can see why anyone would continue to work if it was allowed, but also WHY are shows being allowed to go ahead right now?!

I don't know their financial situation, are drag stars millionaires who can afford to not work for however long the pandemic lasts? If so then stop being selfish and stop booking shows... I don't fully understand this tbh but that's what I think based on the little I do know...

I definitely do see both sides but I have to admit I thought Farrah would have the opposite position on this :wtfga: didn't expect her to be the woke one here. And she's of course right.

Farah actually seems more intelligent, lowkey shocked. People need to stop being selfish and stop thinking about their own selves. A nighlife entertainer is NOT an essential career.

Every single business will have had some effect because of the pandemic. Its unfortunate but inevitable. Trinity is one of the most well known Drag race girls. She isn't someone who is struggling to make ends meet. She's just annoyed she can't do drag the way she could before covid.

In the face of covid, no one should be in bars.

I agree with Farrah here. I do sympathize with the "well I need to make an income/not lose my house" line of argument, but I'd sympathize more with a poor person making that argument than a semi-famous person like Trinity who presumably has a bit more resources to fall back on. Also, since Trinity is already well-known, she can use her name and image in other ways for a temporary income (livestreams, merch, etc.), options a lot of people don't have.

While it can be really hard to juggle flawless ethics vs. actual practicality/survival at all times depending on your situation in life, this definitely isn't worth blocking Farrah over. If that was enough to bother Trinity, she's gonna have to block half of the internet coming for her...

Millionaires are a bit of a stretch... but they most certainly have more money than you or I. Being a 'Ru' girl in itself means you get more bookings, and many of them have YouTube channel, release music, are on TV, have TV shows, sell books etc etc... they aren't poor by any stretch of the imagination, but not millionaires

I simply cannot believe that out of all the drag queens struggling out there, Trinity would be the one who would desperately need gigs to makes ends meet... Didn't she literally win All Stars at some point?

Never thought I’d be siding with Farrah lol

not a good look Trinity. Not all stars champion material.

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

She did win a recent all stars so I’m sure she was investing money in shows/material that got sidelined because of COVID, so she never really got to see that money returned to her.

Its not cheap looking like them and I’m sure they have to invest a ton of money before they see a profit from their work.
