Delulu Rogers 7,079 Posted January 1, 2021 Share Posted January 1, 2021 I was driving over to my grandmas house and on the way 99.9 virgin radio, like the biggest station in Canada, played sour candy in full during their remix/mega mix New Year’s Eve jam. Not only was it great, but it’s kind of weird that they played it at all considering it’s not a single and they pretty much never play songs that are not singles. Maybe this is a sign? I wouldn't say the least. Of the 3 main Toronto mainstream Stations I'd say Z-103.5 plays her the least tbh 99.9 Virgin radio does play her but they just don't usually play her first. They are the kind of station to only out something on heavy rotation once it's become popular unless it's an artist they really favour like Drake, The Weeknd or Ariana Grande Kiss 92.5 always plays Gaga first and the most but if the single does catch on and becomes a Toronto hit then 99.9 will still play it. Z103.5 is the one that sometimes can be a stubborn b*TCH when it comes to Gaga. They seemed to only like her during The Fame then payed her dust ever since Even big Hit Adult Contemporary stations like Chum 104.5 or 98.1 CHFI that never put the same song on heavy rotation will sometimes play a new Gaga song more than Z-103.5 tbh Fresh 95.3 plays Gaga A LOT too but they aren't as relevant.
