He yelled it once, accidentally and in anger, during a livestream, and has subsequently taken ownership of it, apologised profusely for it, and for the past 2/3 years has remained completely drama-free and used his platform numerous times to help charities and smaller creators.

If you’re going to post something, do your research first.

Did you even watch that clip before posting it? Or was it a quick Google search for anything that could somehow justify your claim of “yelling” it “a hundred times”?

I could literally go through each of those 6 clips or so (4 of which aren’t even of him saying the word, let alone yelling it) and completely denounce them but I honestly don’t have the energy.

Well done. You totally got me. Good job.

Just say it. You don't care about him using that word.

Maybe he didn't yell, but he said it many many times. Not in some problematic tweets years ago as a ignorant teen but on camera with people watching

He can apologize but that doesn't change anything. If he does that on camera, I can't imagine how many times he did that in private

I take great exception to the insinuation in any capacity that I wouldn’t care about someone using inappropriate language online when I’ve said nothing of the sort.

Simply put - my comment was solely about a grossly inaccurate statement that you made about someone which A. Had nothing to do with the thread’s point anyways and B. Is factually inaccurate, defaming towards him, and most importantly, diminishing towards the genuine problems we have online.

An apology without genuine acknowledgement and improvement is meaningless, yes. Pewdiepie has more than acknowledged and improved his behaviour. Something you would know if you gave it any genuine investment of time beyond what you’ve heard from heresay.

People make mistakes. They learn from it. They grow. Let’s focus our energies on those who actually deserve it, instead of bringing up things from 3,4,5,10 years ago baselessly.

 End of story.
