He was supposed to be sworn in this upcoming Sunday and leaves behind his wife and 2 small children. He was only 41 years old. He was notoriously anti-mask and celebrated his victory at an indoor venue where no one was wearing a mask. He stated that, "We have to make sure our economy gets open...we have to learn to live in a COVID world" just weeks before his passing. Wear a mask people. A virus that has ripped life as we know it from our overworked poor hands and one that has killed hundreds of thousands of people. A virus that ultimately took his very own life. But WE CAN DO HARD THINGS! We give our condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. Republicans have turned the anti mask movement into this “pro economy” movement when in reality you can be both pro economy and pro mask.
