Somewhat off-topic but no one ever seems to bring up Shawn's "racist" past properly despite apologizing tbh like if we're gonna do it with Camila how come we don't do it with Shawn?

Besides the rumours that they're a fake PR couple, their over-clingy nature with each other, particularly how enamored he is with her, makes a lot of us cringe. What can you say? They're young and this is clearly the first big relationship for both of them and in that situation, a lot of people want to say and do things that scream "WE'RE HAVING SEX" from the rooftops. It makes the older and wiser onlookers roll their eyes. We're seen this before, it's the most predictable scenario in the book. The most oversharing, PDA-heavy, OTT couples tend to be the ones that are hiding issues with their relationship that they don't want people to know about and end up breaking up. So instead of just being happy for couples like this, we can't help but ponder how long it'll last.

Because it's just the selective energy that they have. People wanna hate on Camila and Shawn and stan nicki minaj, Justin Bieber, dua lipa, and lil Nas x. 

They wanna say Camila and Shawn are racist when they've apologized and showed their immense growth. 

Especially Camila, 3 times she's apologized and she's donated and protested for multiple minority groups rights. 

And then there are those people who think their relationship is pr and think Shawn is gay. You're labeling Shawn and putting him in a box making him something he's not. 

Did you like it when people said you'd have multiple girls growing up? No? Keep the same energy for Shawn.

Camila has defended Normani multiple times on Twitter and in public. She's tweeted about how much she hates racism and even blocks her own fans who have came for Normani in any way. 

 

Based off her tumblr account, one that was made when she was 12? She was 12, that's no excuse, but she apologized for it. Multiple times, and she's showed that she grew up.
