After a slew of accusations she 'faked' her Spanish heritage, Hilaria Baldwin confessed Sunday that her real name is Hillary and she was actually born in Boston, not Majorca.

'Yes, I am a white girl. I am a white girl'
'Let's be very clear that Europe has a lot of white people in there and my family is white. Ethnically, I am a mix of many, many, many things. Culturally, I grew up with two cultures so it's really as simple as that.'

The video came days after claims that she's spent years misrepresenting her heritage went viral on Twitter last week. A number of videos of her past TV appearances were unearthed as evidence that her Spanish accent isn't real.  Several former classmates came forward to confirm that Hilaria was in fact raised in Weston (Massachusetts).

Hillary previously claimed that she came to the US when she was just 19 years old. But it has been revealed that she attended the exclusive The Cambridge School of Weston where fees are $64,900.

Hilaria has long described her mother as Spanish, records revealed that she is in fact a fourth-generation Massachusetts resident and her father's family has even deeper ties to the US, having lived here since before the American Revolution.

Hilaria's husband Alec Baldwin took to Instagram to defend his wife from 'spectacularly false' media reports on Sunday.

UPDATE:

Hilaria Baldwin 'misrepresented' over 'fake' Spanish roots
Hilaria Baldwin has said critics who have accused her of faking her Spanish roots have been "misrepresenting her".  "There is not something I'm doing wrong."
She said she speaks with varying degrees of a Spanish accent depending on how happy or upset she is feeling.

Genealogist Dr. Adina Newman says there is 'no Spain in sight' after tracing Hilaria's lineage back to England, Ireland, Germany, Quebec, modern day Slovakia and finally to New England.

Nowhere in her family tree does she have any ties to Spain, with the only connection being vacationing in the European country during her childhood and her parents retiring to the island of Majorca in 2011.

Can someone explain to me why Hilaria Clinton didn't win the Spanish election?

Because Hilarious Baldwin won the electoral college.

The yoga instructor also clarified more facts about herself. "First thing I told my husband is that I was born in Boston," Hilaria said. "I spent a lot of my childhood in Spain. My family, my nuclear family lives in Spain and has lived there for a long time...I was moving around a lot but I came here when I was 19 years old to go to college."

So she’s not ethnically Spanish but she grew up there.
