BillieGOAT 5,216
ARTPOP could have been an album full of monster hits: Gypsy MANiCURE Sexxx Dreams ((maybe as a final single, radio might not love it)) I agree with Applause and DWUW being in the mix too.. it just felt like the album era could have been extended

Focz 1,765
Personally I think the best is The Fame Monster, although they could have squeezed at least one more single from the album Worst: Joanne / A Star Is Born I love Joanne's songs and singles, but the order was bad and it just could have been a lot better, a shame And well, Shallow is obviously a hit, one of Gaga's biggest songs, but it's also a shame that they only promoted one song as an official single 💜
RRR 3,996
Born This Way was the worst because Judas was a complete miss, destroyed momentum entirely, brought the era to a screeching halt. Then she released ballad after ballad when the gays were looking for dance music. Glad she took a break after that.
SoSourCandy 348
ARTPOP started really strong with applause and dwuw tho but i needed them continue with sexxx dreams with a feature
Guest
Best choices was The Fame Monster, as much as I hate to admit it because I really don't like Telephone. Worst choices was definitely ARTPOP.

ToxicHot 6,444
Hmmm.... For me, the best single rollout was probably Born This Way and The Fame. The Fame Monster, too....although this era really had a great transition from The Fame, wow. You could basically argue that they were one. Obviously, the rollout for BTW is flawed because Judas during Easter was controversial and definitely hurt her image, and Yoü and I was actually a great single BUT I don’t think it generally did all that well outside of the United States. However, in retrospect I’m glad it was a single because it really showed Gaga’s versatility. And as we all know, The Fame had such an iconic span of singles. Each and every one of them (except Eh, Eh) had an impact. So, yeah, The Fame was the best, and I think the singles had more power than The Fame Monster singles except Bad Romance, but like I said the eras could really be seen as ONE. Okay, so worst..... That title goes to Joanne. I love Perfect Illusion, but that should’ve never been the lead. Seriously. Million Reasons turned out to basically carry the whole era, but the Super Bowl halftime show really turned it into the phenomena it was. I love it though and it had a significant impact in “cleaning” up Gaga’s image. Dancin’ in Circles not being a single should’ve been a CRIME though. Like..... wtf? It would’ve been way better as the lead too with the right visuals and promo OR a second single. A-YO should’ve remained as a single before it was demoted as well. Ugh. dOnT sAd ReAcT mE 2 bE sHaDy i WiLL RePoRt U!!1!

Guest
TFM had the best singles for sure, I wish on BTW the singles would have been BTW, TEOG and MTN to close and maybe Hair and Scheibe as promotional singles. ARTPOP singles should have been Applause, Venus, ARTPOP and Dope as promotional and Gypsy to close the era. Joanne singles should have been MR as lead, John Wayne as second and the Joanne piano version to close the era. Also A-YO as promotional. I feel like ASIB could have had more singles, Shallow as the lead and then ARUTW, INLA as the era closer.
yes and 4,884
TF/TFM/BTW had the best single choices. After them, there was only mess. Did you think I'd show up in a limousine? No

ARTPOP 3,095
People saying Chromatica is the worst just because they dislike Stupid Love, ignoring that it did pretty well globally for a month leaked song without promo or performances Liking a song isn’t the same as a good single choice. Also DWUW did great on the radio until the video+R.Kelly mess, it was perfect for that time of music where RnB+Trap were dominating the charts. COME ON GAYS!!
