First of all they don't win anything with this Second of all scientists continue to maintain that the virus appears to be natural and not made Third of all I think the reason China controlled it better was due to its government system and culture. The government is tougher and as a general rule people tend to follow direction... In the western world it's all about personal rights and many ppl only follow rules or guidelines when they are worried about punishment. If they think odds of getting caught or fined are low they still do whatever they want anyway. I see the vast majority of people (especially in my age group and co-worker) not really taking it seriously at all and not really social distancing tbh. Many ppl took it seriously for maybe a month then got tired of lockdowns and instantly started slipping in being careful with day to day life Hence because too many people act and think that way, trying to control it in the western world has been a nightmare Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

A very socialist Nation that is properly run and efficient and thriving would be the ultimate human achievement tbh Unfortunately in my view Governments and people have proven time and time again they are not competent enough to run a system with that much central control It's not that central control in itself is bad or doomed to fail.
