Definitely not here to jump down your throat. But Biden told the dems to fight for less on a stimulus plan. This whole thing is the fault of both parties not just the Republicans. The elite don't care about the people who elected them. Most of the stimulus check goes to the military and other countries. I'm not joking! Money is going to Venezuela to start a coup. Also in this bill they made illegal online streaming a federal crime punishable up to 10 years! This is not a stimulus check but a scam to funnel more money to basically everyone but the american people.

A friend sent me a meme that basically put the blame solely on Nancy Pelosi... so yeah, conservatives are trying to blame democrats for this. 
 

Or they’re trying to go down this “both sides” route, which is a false equivalence. 
 

Don’t get me wrong, Nancy Pelosi definitely played politics with this relief bill, but the GOP is flat out trying to stop direct payments entirely.

They need to be made aware of all the suffering they have caused and be terrified of their constituents. Mind u I'm not convinced socialism or a more left leaning bigger government (specifying since socialism can mean different things to different people) would necessarily work as well as they think it would

 

Bigger government and spending and programs doesn't automatically make society better or worse. How competently it's handled and allocated is also a critical detail 

 

Ppl spend a lot of time debating socialism vs capitalism as if it's as simple as one being good and the other bad but no one spends any time discussing the logistics of how to implement a new system to make sure it's efficient and effective

 

Societies where government plays a bigger role in ppls lives can end up in a very wide spectrum from successful and prosperous like Northern Europe to collossal failures like Venezuela or some of Southern Europe... Like it depends on a lot of factors of implementation
