After a series of scraped EP, Miley is finally back with her seventh studio album Plastic Hearts! The highly anticipated album was release on November 27th, 2020 following singles Midnight Sky and Prisoner. The album is deeply inspired by rock music and contains a mix of the rock genre and pop, as well as hints of country influence on some tracks. It delivers pop rock bangers, heartfelt ballads, and sonically intriguing moments, topped with Miley's jarringly beautiful and emotional vocal delivery. It features iconic artists Billy Holiday, Joan Jett, and Dua Lipa. Plastic Hearts has garnered a score of 75/100 on Metracritic, and received mostly positive reviews from critics.

Comments:

CubbyGaga : A great closer to a near perfect album.

JoanneMonster : My least favorite song on the album, a bit boring for me, but it is a good closer

HausOfAntonio : Enjoy it more than I expected tbh.

Metalguru : uninspiring but tolerable

Aloe :    Didn’t have the intensity to land a mark for this ending track but it’s still cute

NicoB : Not my favorite, but it's a wonderful way to close the album

GaGaLB : The demo was better. They ruined the song with the new production.

ChristianDior : I don't know, I kinda love it but it's also my least favourite song and ballad on this album. Don't know why but I kinda get Christmas vibes from it.

Joaomggd : It kinda goes nowhere.

Juan2111 : Very nice ballad, like the topic it touches, society and how media criticized miley its a great ending song.

Jimmytimestep : This song hints at a mature, alternative artist that i hope for Miley to evolve into next. Wonderful way to end the album and an incredible lyric.

Touranese : Sounds like a sad Christmas song to me. I can imagine Gaga singing this song. Maybe I would like it better personally if it was a Gaga song.

Huttont : The melody and lyrics are really nice. Perfect ending to the album

Blue Monster : Great ending

GregJA : Could be the one on the album I could live without

Hola Soraya : I personally thought the song was really boring and shouldn't have made the cut.

Selenalavigne : ... cute 2nd verse the rest is uhmmm a skip.

#11 - High:

Score: 7.473

Highest Score: 11 - @oko

Lowest Score: 3 - @metalguru

Comments:

CubbyGaga : She is really coming through with these infectious choruses

JoanneMonster : Ok song, not really my vibe.

ultradim : lyrics: 10, composition/production: 9, vocals: 10
saddest song on the album. miley's voice singing "I STILL FEEL HIGH" hits you hard af

metalguru : cheesy

Aloe : I can’t remember the tune even after listening  to this many times but I know it’s still good

NicoB: I love her ballads so much

GaGaLB : Too much shouting.

ChristianDior : Like it, love it when she shows her country side, but it's not a song a would play that fast.

joaomggd : Gorgeous Lyrics. The best ballad on the album for me.

Juan2111 : Very beutiful, love what  Mark Ronson and MIley did.

jimmytimestep : Didn't sign up for country ballads or vapid poetry.

Huttont : Eh it’s forgettable

GregJA : It’s alright

Hola Soraya : Kind of feels like an unreleased Younger Now song. Don't get me wrong it's a good song but it kind of breaks the cohesiveness of the album.

Selenalavigne : prettyyy

10 - Hate Me:

Score: 7.507

Highest Score: 11 - @TheFriend @Dominic

Lowest Score: 2 - @Rudz Xinc

Comments:

CubbyGaga : another perfect song I wish was longer

JoanneMonster : Like the song, but I would like it better if it sounded a little bit darker.

HausOfAntonio : I do wonder what would happen if I died *cries*

Aloe : Wtf this is amazing not really pop rock but still

NicoB : It's cute

ChristianDior : I kinda love it a lot and kinda don't like it. Reminds me of Kesha, the entire album has a Kesha ring to it.

Joaomggd : Her vocal delivery seems different from the rest of the tracks, not a bad thing tho. Nice overall song, although im not rushing to replay it.

Juan2111 : Maybe one of my favs on the album, the chorus is just ballad-ish like angels like you  or high, but its also feels rock like plastic hearts (the song) ITS THE PERFECT COMBINATION

Jimmytimestep : see above

Huttont : It’s an okay song. It fits the album but it’s just kinda there

Blue Monster : A grower, the chorus is very interestingly brighter than other tracks

GregJA : What would happen if I die? 😱 will some still hate me? 🤔

Selenlavigne : A good song.
