When this is all calmed down, going out and doing things is not like we never learned anything from the pandemic. I’m planning on traveling more because it was always a “I’ll do it later” thing but what I learned is to do things now and live your life to the fullest.

Same here. That last line is so true. For example, the amazing front-line workers who put themselves at risk to help others and on the other hand the anti-vaxxers who spread conspiracy theories.

Also, I hope that people change their ways after this pandemic and start taking global warming more seriously. The effects of global warming continue to destroy the Earth. I think people need to realise that this problem is everybody's responsibility and something that we must work to combat, or else there'll be more destruction and more pandemics. Although I doubt any meaningful change will occur as many people were go back to business as usual.

100% down for another Roaring 20s when things are better. I'm the first to preach for respect of distancing rules and masks while the pandemic is still going, but this guy is right in saying that pandemics do come to an end at some point as history has shown many times, even if it may not seem like it at the moment.

Let's keep our hopes up and focus on how much life will be worth living on the other side of these difficult times.

Far-right ideologies are on the rise in Europe and the USA currently, which makes me very concerned for the future. I wouldn't be surprised if some far-right parties nearly win elections across Europe. Hopefully the left, right and centre will be able to unite in condemning this and preventing their rise. Many right wing politicans also need to stop pandering to far-right ideologies.

I'm in the US. Some of those things I can't do where I live; some I could, but I won't because I don't want to take the risk. I'm sheltering in place with my parents, and my mom just got out of the hospital for something; no way am I taking any risks to get either of them sick when we're so close receiving vaccines. 

But in terms of what we can't do: indoor dining is closed; cinemas have been closed but are reopening without any concessions (you can't drink or eat in the theatre); US passports are not allowed in the countries/foreign territories where I'd like to travel. But yes, theoretically I could go to a salon, I just don't want to because of the associated risks.

I think the roaring 20s were a consequence of the war as well, though, so I don't know if we would have something comparable "just" because he had a pandemic. But yes, I expect people to really start doing all of these things they couldn't do again. I can't wait to be able to travel again, and go out and meet people.
