DontDoubtDavid 1,191
Lana del Rey. I hated her so much at first. But the more I listened the more I got into her. Still to this day I don’t like her music at first listen, but after a few replays, they’re good.
My Name Isnt Alice 3,737
Rina sawayama i can't understand the hype at first until I listened to cherry and I'm hooked as hell then suddenly loved all her songs like there's no bad one (except paradisin )

Ronk 14,762
Taylor. Gaga is a special case. I didn't pay attention to her at all until September 2010 because she was "that weird entertainer". Then I saw a clip online and loved her from then on. I think it's more "discovering" than "growing on". I live outside the space time continuum. Togekiss 2,528
I’d say Miley. I was NOT here for Hannah Montana or her rebellious phase after. I still don’t listen to anything pre-Younger Now which is my fave song from her. Love plastic hearts though. building a daydream
Togekiss 2,528
1 hour ago, Evan Peters said: taylor swift, grimes, poppy, rina sawayama, and nicki Oooh Grimes for SURE! I didn’t understand her appeal at all at first but someone once described her as “pop music vegetables”. You don’t like them at first but they’re good for you. building a daydream

Ivy 12,561
BLACKPINK & Lizzo I just didn't really give either of them a chance I guess. I heard one or two songs and just decided I didn't like them... But then I ended up listening to Lizzo's album Cuz I Love You, and I liked it a lot and got to know her personality better and started following her I became a fan of BLACKPINK due to Sour Candy, I started listening to more of their stuff and found out I actually did like them the meow in zombieboy

TheSlash 14,539
Taylor Swift: Pre-reputation, her music was just not my cup of tea, but I consider myself a casual fan ever since (but everything before 1989 is still a big NO for me ) BABYMETAL: I remember listening to a few songs by them around 2 years ago (including Gimme Chocolate and Shanti Shanti Shanti) and I hated it bc it was Metal. Then I discovered Poppy and as she got slowly into harder directions with her music, I also got more into it. Now, BABYMETAL is right up there with Gaga Ew, David!
