This was not a live performance for tv or a show. It was a performance for the sake of an online video as far as I know that's why it's edited and in montage form. It's basically a music video but a performance

 

Another example would be rock music video performances where they sing into Mike and have someone in drums and the scenes are edited and it's basically a performance but it's still a music video so it's not usually live

 

This appears like something simmilar but just a pop version. Again I don't think this was ever an actual live performance that's the thing

 

Stuff like that is fine to be lipsync

The Lady is a Tramp on the other hand serves as the actual music video for the song. It's just details that we're discussing here, but in this case that's what makes the difference in my opinion. I guess I'm just bothered that they're trying to pass it as a live performance when it clearly isn't one

This montage is a performance. It's just not a live one. I think u just assumed I meant some kind of TV performance but I never exclusively said that

 

If u wanna talk only about her live performances then sure this doesn't count. I was talking about my fav performance in general. But by definition the word "performance" isn't exclusive to something live in front of an audience. In this montage she is performing. The fact that it's an edited montage to put on YouTube doesn't change the fact that it's still a performance.

 

Again it's just not a live one. But I never said it was or tried to pass it off as one. All I put in the OP was the video and no description u cannot accuse me of trying to pass it off as a live one

Yeah it can be misleading I agree. For me tho it doesn't change the fact that I love this performance. The type of performance montage it is I don't care if it's sung live or not

 

But the misleading title is a whole other debate seperate to how good it was or not tho tbh

These vocals and the choreo are the reason I love it

 

Many are criticizing the fact she didn't sing live but again this is a montage performance. Its purpose was something to whatch online not something in front of an audience so personally I don't really care that it wasn't sung live
