Because thats how a union should solve a problem, toss the country out and the people who are struggling in it. I see your point. Then the EU needs to intervene somehow. TSUNAMI 21,308
One day the world will burn because of my anger. All that who suffered will be saved, all the opressors will be put into their place. They will have no chance of redemption. They destroyed too many lifes. I know this is not very BTW of me. I'm just a human and have an anger in me because of injustice.

They dont hold that much power to be honest Poland is threatening to leave the EU if the EU starts to intervene too much ... and as much as I want us to be kicked out because we dont deserve a cent from the EU it would have serious repercussions on our country as a whole. Glamourpuss 29,080
This is so sad. There are so many children needing a loving family. So what if it's 2 men or 2 women.
Guest
I just don't understand what kind of person has to care so much about two men / two women adopting that they actively fight against it. Like can you imagine caring so much about something that doesn't affect you???
AlexanderMagno 10,746
Unlike some people think, mostly Brexiteers who “wAnt THeIr FrEEdoM bACk”, the EU is not a federation where Brussels has the power to control the laws of a country. It is powerful enough to make some countries feel economically “dependent”, and it is able to establish a sort of “rule of law” for most countries to follow, but some things are beyond their scope. Unfortunately, this is one of those cases. The whole controversy about Hungary and Poland veto for the EU budget was supposed to control these situations, but it’s far from ideal. I do hope these countries will change for the better in the near future. Adoption by same-sex partners has been proved to be as beneficial as heterossexual’s, and children grow up to be well-adjusted, healthy adults. This is truly a step that goes against all research and proof. Also, not the time to talk about leaving Hungary behind. First, because the EU aims at improving its countries, not abandoning them. Second, because Brexit was hard enough as it was, now they need to build a stronger than ever Union. Unfortunately, it remains a controversial subject, even in the European Union. Much less popular in Eastern countries, but still a bit controversial in the West.

The union is on the verge of breaking when Italy was threatening to leave after the aftermath of the first wave hitting the country leaving them alone with no financial help from the EU. Panicking, the EU gave millions and millions to Italy.

r4therupbeat 1,587
Hungary and Poland are always the bottom of the barrel in the EU when it comes to human rights. In 10 years maybe there will be progress.
