Sis you're literally in this thread claiming that YOUR OPINION is the ONLY "right" position to hold.

You're so holier than thou, king. Show us your ways

What opinions? He’s discussing the cold hard facts of what each policy means and does. Do you not know Pete’s Public Option™️ flies in the face of “healthcare is a human right” by only covering 97% of people with insurance? I feel like you don’t, which is alright, but I just wanna let you know you’re accidentally supporting a policy goal that actively hurts your stated goals of that right...

“His plan still wouldn’t quite achieve universal coverage, by the Biden campaign’s own admission. Undocumented people living in the US would be left out, for starters, and some people who likely find health insurance to still be unaffordable. But the campaign estimates 97 percent of Americans would have health insurance under those reforms.“

It's almost irony that Bernie, after Iowa, acted exactly the way Trump is acting right now. He probably still won't acknowledge Pete's win. His hardcore supporters went crazy agreeing with him, but still hypocritically disparage Hilary's popular vote win everytime they get the chance. :billie:

Yeah I quoted a dictionary definition as evidence.

Where do you get your definition of neo-liberalism? Urban dictionary? Perhaps YouTube?

Imagine believing a YouTuber over a dictionary. :ladyhaha: Cult status confimT.

The dictionary does not go enough into details to be the only definition of a political concept. A shortened definition is not proof of understanding at all.

Its funny that Iowa is becoming relevant again.

Do you only read the title of articles? This only slowed down the reporting which caused the mess in the headlines. Nothing about changes in the numbers.

Pete still won Iowa.

Do people actually think Pete hacked the system and stole the Iowa caucus from Bernie?

Same people who advocate for one person, one vote and abolishing the electoral college advocate for state delegate equivalents to count more than the popular vote (which Bermie did win). (:

Of course I read the article. It shows the democratic party cant run elections without creating chaos.

What? :rip: You can't define an entire ideology only in a single phrase. The one you quoted is based on the original principles of neoliberalism, yes, but since it was first adopted there were many consequences and alternative/related theories that couldn't possible be put in a single dictionary definition. Why did you bring YouTube here I literally never mentioned it. You get acquainted with theories through reading and watching reality, not through getting brief phrases from the dictionary, written to give the reader the simplest of summaries on a given topic. Now you'll say that you're ready to make a surgery because you read the definition of "medicine" in the dictionary?

LOL sis I never had a meltdown about communism coming into America :billie: I alluded to the idea that he's a communist like 10 months ago after enduring months of being bullied and harassed here by the can't-react-rose-twitter club. And I'm staunchly a progressive tyvm (and no I don't need your validation either).

Calling Bernie a "communist" is about as fair as calling Pete a "rat" (which countless users do every Pete Buttigieg thread). Both are unproductive and mean.

But yes please lecture me on how I don't have a clue what I'm talking about. Continue ignoring the fact that Pete supporters are being bullied in this thread and being called monsters. Pop off sis give us nothing...

First of all, how is referring to someone as a communist mean and unproductive? That belief alone is giving me strong McCarthy vibes. The comments you made are obviously based on a very incorrect notion of what communism is, and very similar to the ones the majority of American have due to the consequences of American imperialism and Cold War era propaganda. I personally said he looked like a rat but I didn't mean it as an insult (I even clarified it on the same comment). I really like how he looks physically and I find the fact he looks like one to be endearing because I actually like rats. However, I don't like him as a person because he's as neoliberal as one can be, and neoliberals have caused nothing but trouble for society. They had their moments, I guess, but their time has undoubtedly passed. It's time to think of the people, not the markets, and that's a long overdue fact. I don't ignore the fact people are bullying him, but many are bringing fair points that are ignored by other users just because. Pete is the personification of this legendary "compromise" that neoliberals always say it's necessary, and time and time again it was proven this "compromise" spurs nothing but failure. I prefer a Biden admin to a Trump one any day, but now it's time to actually begin to criticize the enablers of countless injustices and inhumane actions.

Actually what you just described is confirmation bias. Would you like me to post the dictionary definition?:billie: Especially since it's only the far left creating and confirming those "theories."

Could you elaborate on what "theories" you're referring to?
