in that case, long story short would indeed be such a fitting farewell song, both biographically (reputation/manager issues: "i fell from the pedestal," "long story short, it was the wrong guy," "past me / i wanna tell you not to get lost in these petty things / your nemeses," finding love/joe/awating their baby: "now i'm all about you") and globally (pandemic/vaccine: "long story short, it was a bad time / long story short, i survived"). but i don't want her to go anywhere
