But it's much different when the album isn't released yet, and you have little idea of what exactly it's going to represent artistically. Granted, I still enjoyed watching yet another "side" to her, but I can't help but worry how indicative projects like these are of the new album. It also doesn't help that any new bits of lyrics I've heard so far (cue TEA or any of the "Princess High" plug-ins) kind of disappointed me. I definitely love watching Gaga rapidly shape-shift into different roles and characters and pulling off completely unexpected stunts- but the commonality between all of those occurrences was that they were sophisticated in at least one aspect (whether that be conceptual or aesthetic)! I guess, ultimately, I'm worried she's morphing into a basic, unsubstantial b---h to get the GP back. This is obviously something she's doing for fun. It's safe to assume ARTPOP was pushed back quite far, and she's just trying to give us something to hold us over. All she wants to do is keep us happy, and right now you guys seem rather unappreciative of what she's doing for us. She could be in some spa getting her feet massaged but no, she decided to make short films and some fun quick songs for us. Suck it up.
