Well, now we can say she doesn't have any more content left from 911. She already put out the remixes and now the gagavision, so what's coming next?

Ikr. On the day the video was released these mf started asking abour the 4th video. They are never satisfied. When Gaga does sth it’s always subpar to them but when literally any other pop girl, especially the currently relevant ones, does it’s a masterpiece heralded by angels. F these vapid clout chasers.

I disagree.

Brands pay her to promote their products in the same way this Gagavision is being used to promote her music, as a social media post. A behind the scenes video of a Haus Labs shoot is still Haus Labs promo. 

In my opinion, any time she is discussing her art publicly, it’s promo. Sometimes that means  talk shows, and sometimes it’s in less traditional ways like Gagavisions.

Of course promo (content) makes fans happy and everyone is glad when it comes.  

We just don’t think it matters to the point that justifies dragging Gaga, making threads every heartbeat about how bEtRaYeD as a stan they feel, how she’s a sellout and out-of-touch has been, announcing to the world they’re going to unstan, giving her an ultimatum to do sth before they leave.

Frankly, I used to think the era was over. But seeing her with purple hair is what truly made me believe that something might be happening - during her downtime, she's always blonde. And her being more active in the past few days online is comforting me in this idea. Then again, it could be about another Haus Labs drop... I guess time will tell.

There's a difference between being a Little Manager and understanding that this era hasn't been the best it could be. Hopefully her releasing this means that there's more stuff coming soon. 

Don't clump up every fan who has valid criticisms of the era as people who blatantly hate on Gaga.

This was fantastic and everything I've wanted from Gaga lately... a genuine insight into her art, how she works, and why the work matters to her. 

Loved it so much. 

She seemed to be having so much fun here, and I could see that genuine Gaga energy in a way I don't think we've seen in a long time, to be honest.

And also... she looks SO much like TF/M Gaga at times in this. Like, wow.

Promo is a byproduct of it, but this is content for fans. Promo comes in all different forms, true. But Gaga didn't release this to promote 911 or Chromatica. It was something for us fans to enjoy. She's talking about the intricate details of her art (song and video) which is only something fans would enjoy. The intent of promotion isn't there with this video. 

Remember that is a Gagavision, not just a BTS view. We already got that a month ago. Promo is something done deliberately to promote something, and if this was promo then it would have been released a week after 911 dropped or something. 

For some reason, fans have lumped content for fans and 'promo' together when the two are completely different. This is content for fans

Whether she is talking about her process in a Zane Lowe interview, or in a Gagavsion, they serve the same purpose. They promote her art, and give her audience an insight into her process. 

Gagavison, performative red carpet moments, and turning hotel arrivals and departures into fashion shows, are all examples of her mastering non-traditional promo. 

I don’t agree with your distinction between fan service and promo.

But regardless, I’m sure you agree it’s nice hearing her talk about her work.

This black & white motif for "artistic reasons" is so stupid. We're in 2020, and for something like this having it in color is so much better 

That said, glad to have some new content. I always enjoy listening to Gaga and her talking about her art and the messages or meanings behind it.
