WOW! only through streaming?? No CDs. No Vinyls. No Bundles. Impressive. :golfclap:

Why just streaming? Is her album not on iTunes or other digital platforms?

I honestly expected much higher sales. With wonder and positions I believed that it was a natural fall for the artists but seeing now with Taylor, apparently the bundle rule really affected debuts. 300k is still a lot for any artist out there tho, she still slayed right and left and considering it’s her second album in such a short period of time, it's an even better scenario. If it's true about the physical copies not being available this week, it will be interesting to see her stability in the following weeks when it's released.

the scars on my mind are on replay.

There’s no physical sales. The CDs weren’t ready to ship. So they don’t count on the rules. That’s why. She’ll keep the #1 spot with physical sales in the next 2 weeks.

I'm 100% sure of that. she will hold this #1 for several weeks again.

With taylor, she tends to wipe the floor in terms of physical sales, and this time around physical copies are only online and they won't count until they ship. Honestly, this probably secured her a multi-week number 1 that has the potential to hold the position longer than the 8-week run that Folklore had.

EDIT: lol, someone already told you this

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Again, we get it. You don’t like the album or Taylor. Why be in every Taylor thread? Don’t waste your time.

Never said i didn't like her just wasn't aware she was a gay niche artist

When will Gaga realize that a surprise release is so much more effective than spending time and money promoting the lead and album just for it to leak a week before release date and ruin everything.

Well but Taylor is Taylor. I really don’t think Gaga could successfully pull off a surprise release, she’s always been too dependent on singles and promo.

Gaga is a streaming force now. Chromatica is one of the top most streamed albums this year. A surprise Gaga album would be HUGE!

The downside is that it's harder to have a big hit out of it.

It's risky because if the album doesn't do quite as well as u were hoping for the era is basically dead. Ur not getting any hits to try and save it or bring life to it
