Again, mods had to literally warn us to polite, like that isn’t a given anymore. Don’t you think in a way it’s messed up and bad that on a site dedicated to Gaga the most popular threads are the ones ‘criticizing’ her? If LMAO’s to anything appreciating Gaga, shady gifs and Stan Twitter memes and people pretending like they are managers and writing bullshit paragraphs is ‘criticism’, then is it so weird that people want to get rid of it? Especially when it’s starting to take the site over? Again, I didn't stick around in that thread, so perhaps some people were getting too out of hand. However, from my experience, I just saw a lot of people memeing it. Well, this thread is literally #1 on trending and it's the opposite of "criticizing" her. The OP suggested that we stop criticizing her...These types of threads (from BOTH sides) are always the ones who get the most reponses. Whether the OP criticizes Gaga and the responses are praising her or vice versa, it's just these types of threads that always get the attention. Little Managers are different from people who have valid criticisms of this era. I agree that if people are blatantly hateful and offensive, they should be banned or something, but that's not what a lot of other people are saying too. There are people like me who love and appreciate Gaga and want to defend her any chance they get, but at some point, y'all need to be self-aware enough to say, "I love Gaga and all that she's done, but I also understand that this era isn't good." ᗰᗩYᕼEᗰ || 🦇👹🖤

Completely ignoring her fans because of a small loud group is ridiculous imo You make it sound simple. One negative comment among a thousand positive ones sticks out like a sore thumb. And you can bet she'll be more affected by that one. GGD has been rife with horrible comments for the last three months. I hope she avoids this place like the plague. River 108,090
Maybe.... the "elite" fans like you should leave us alone? These threads makes me feel like I'm a low level trash fake fan because I didn't like a dress. Pretty sure I'm not alone, these threads should stop, stop blaming us for everything just because we have an opinion just STOP IT! It’s about the content of the thread and it’s negative anyway. I agree that there is a difference but honestly it’s become rare and overlooked and the majority of them will still come off as Little Managers. Also I think it’s plain unnecessary given the current circumstances. Everyone knows this era isn’t perfect. It’s about being considerate and appreciating the effort that’s being put in. Criticizing it is basically pointless since it could have gone better. Also Gaga didn’t do anything bad and I’m just disturbed at so many fans basically taking an antagonistic role in the fanbase and NEEDING to ‘criticize’ her. In regards to the Oreo thread, I saw most of those comments as playful and fun. I don't know if anything more happened in that thread, but a lot of people were just memeing the whole thing. I didn't take their "criticism" seriously. I've also never really heard people talk about her book. It's just sort of like, "Yeah, okay, that's cool." I disagree that there are never any threads "actually appreciating Gaga anymore." There are a ton of threads that still do that. They just aren't as popular as these types of threads because these types of threads are inherently argumentative. You were literally one of the people making rude comments towards Gaga in that thread lmao

But there's so many things you can do, like turn of commenting or blocking certain words. There's so many ways you can stop negativity... plus, on Instagram live comments will go too fast for her to even read them. I think its just a poor excuse not to come and interact with your fans when at least 99% of them can behave appropriately. Its unlikely that Lady Gaga will visit Gagadaily. Bobby might come and see what the fans are talking about, but not Gaga. But still, I think the criticism about the Chromatica era is justified and I hope Bobby or someone is reading so that they know Gaga fans aren't that happy with the way things are going since Lady Gaga has been silent for 75% of the year. Of course, comments that go too far are ridiculous but I believe the mods will take care of those. End Racism Now

Oyster 2,458
nah i think she could do more virtual performances or at least be more present. she doesn’t owe us anything but it’s just a missed opportunity and that’s something that’s ok to call out. especially when a huge chunk of the fan base is feeling the same way. wasted potential

They come off negative anyway, sure, but the keyword there is "anyway." Both sides can be equally annoying to deal with. People appreciate and are considerate around the effort being up in. The problem is, there doesn't seem to be much effort (from what we've seen). I completely acknowledge that as of this moment we don't know what's going on behind the scenes. They probably are doing a lot right now, but it's really the silence and "not knowing" which is frustrating. Even if it wasn't Chromatica related, a selfie of Gaga every other day would suffice for most people. Criticizing also isn't "basically pointless" when there are other artists out there who have adapted to COVID times and have shown that they can do just as much promo as they did before the pandemic hit. Gaga has a couple of movies coming up, so that could absolutely be taking up her time, but in that case, they should acknowledge that. At least then we know that we shouldn't be getting Chromatica stuff because she's busy with other projects. ᗰᗩYᕼEᗰ || 🦇👹🖤

Sorcerer92 837
People are allowed to express their disappointment with her, even if I think their opinions are unfounded. My issue is thats its always the same debate over and over again, some of which have made more come backs mote than Cher.

I agree with that, but the thing is you can't 100% filter all the negativity and we don't really know how negative comments affect her. What if all it takes for her to be triggered is one bad comment about the way she looks, acts or even promotes her album? Just one. Maybe that's why she's not interacting with us, maybe not. We can't really know for sure, but it's nice to have in mind that that's a real possibility.
