It is at least 85.
I don't know what kind of math metacritic uses, because I have noticed that sometimes it puts more numbers and sometimes it puts less, I don't understand.
They did the same with Shawn's album, they gave it more average than it would have with the four reviews it had given it at the time.
I mean, I love Taylor, and I love evermore very much but if we start to do the math for ourselves we will realize that the result will not be 88 as it says there.

cuz metacritic does not weigh each review equally. the more well known or renowned a critic is etc, the more it is going to influence the averaged score. it has always been that way

Sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind, I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride

And fairly so. These last two (hell, three) albums have been very strong releases.

Her songwriting has been getting better and better, and she was already pretty good to begin with.

3 points in and ready for more

Sometimes they do errors but also, each publication's score is weighted in differently. Pitchfowk for example is more important than other magazines in terms of the score they give I belive.

I understand that they do not take into account every critic of every magazine but I mean that the 12 reviews they took into account to get their average do not agree with their final average.

as i said, some opinions carry more weight than others. e.g. if some intern from the LA Times is writing a review, itll obviously count less than a seasoned music critic's.

Weird. It’s weaker than Folklore imo. Surprise drops get better reception imo due to lesser preconceptions.

This is her Ray of Light era huh. The lead single from her next album (after a break) is gonna be like Music.

She should get Sacha Baron Cohen for her video too
