Do you guys too feel betrayed and/or lost? (Gaga related)

I will add however that I do feel betrayed for the fact that I spent hundreds of dollars on her merch literally 6 months ago and I’m still waiting for it/there are no updates. Like wth gaga? I get she’s not the one that’s responsible for that stuff but it’s all under her name so she needs/should be giving us transparency with that. It’s literally 2021 in 3 weeks and we don’t even know if she’s signed the posters yet.

i think the bigger question is what random letter of the alphabet she signed (or is going to sign) on the posters

I think what plays a big part in all this, is this is the first time in 12 years she's experiencing a home life. She may enjoy it more than she thought she would. I have a feeling time flies and out of sight is out of mind a bit when it comes to us.

Also she has always seemed to be someone who prefers to have an in person connection with someone instead of just typing descriptions under a photo and putting it online.

Even when she's on stage she focuses on different people, gives them a smile of a wink or a deep stare. She wants to hear our stories, see us dance to her music, meet people at her shows. ( I didn't feel that energy as much during Enigma, I must admit, but I can't really judge).

She looks you in the eye when she talks to you and is a great listener. Sadly, and understandable, many fans talk at her out of excitement and its hard to engage in a conversation when someone is just showering you with compliments or their emotional issues. But when she gets the time to truly talk to someone and connect, it's amazing. I'm sure she misses this.

I recently listened to Gaga radio again and the episode where she talks to fans and asks them about how they experience Chromatica is so precious. But it's not like she can just call anyone of us when she wants to talk. Sure, she can go live on Instagram, but we don't talk back and she can't see our faces. All she'll see is a stream of messages she can't keep up with, many of which will probably people demanding more videos or LG7 or whatever from her.

But yes, as a OG fan I too am a bit sad and disappointed by all the sponsored insta posts and overall silence. Miss her.

I hate to say it but Chromatica is Gaga's "Femme Fatale" era. It's very clear that Gaga doesn't want much to do with it and is doing the minimum needed to promote it. It's kinda hard to stan for an album when the creator doesn't really want much to do with their own work.

Joanne wasn't exactly my taste but Gaga was so into it and believed in what she made. And it made dealing with an era that I normally wouldn't have cared for enjoyable.

Some of you guys weren’t here for the ARTPOP era and it shows. Gaga got screwed this era. It sucks, but we have to get over it. We got a #1 single, #1 album, top 5 lead and Gaga’s most acclaimed music video in a decade. Time for people to get over themselves. We have two Gaga movies coming out in 2021, and who knows what will happen aside from those films in 2021. The era fell flat, but it was always going to be underwhelming during a pandemic.

Sorry, but until Gaga uses a vocal substitute like Myah Marie let’s not go there. If Femme Fatale was released amid the biggest pandemic in 102 years then we can talk. Gaga had plans for the era, and likely got depressed when things fell apart. She only has so much time, and filming for Gucci starts in three months, not to mention Bullet Train. She missed her window of opportunity unfortunately, but we still got a decent era all things considered.

If I’ve learnt anything being a Gaga stan during my time its to have low expectations. God love the woman but pretty much her entire career has been littered with things going wrong. If you don’t expect the world she still have the power to surprise, like the SB or ASIB or the success of ROM. You learn to take the good with the bad and are more present during the good times and less bothered during the down times.

It’s not even a downtime though. Gaga has had a pretty good last few years considering the standards of pop stars in their mid-30s, not to mention how many people dubbed her a flop post-ARTPOP. She had an Oscar win and #1 song in 2019, and a #1 album, top 5 lead, #1 collab, VMA wins, and is filming two movies in 2021...
