I’m sure it wasn’t a deliberate thing to do, it’s possible he doesn’t know about it. I wouldn’t ever found out if I didn’t visit this site. 

Comments like “do better” are kind of dumb because he’s not going to be keeping up with whether someone has come out as something, he’ll only find out if he makes the mistake and gets corrected

I'm sorry but yall need to give society some time to adjust. Adults who have all their lives referred to people as he or she may sometimes slip up because it isn't something we're used to. It will hopefully become so in time with NB visibility and it's good to point it out like the last tweet respectfully did, but to attack people like this is exactly the word he used; self righteous.

What are you on about? Referring to people with their pronouns is a sign of wokeness now? (whatever that means) Women are women, men are men, non-binary are non-binary. If you don't know someone's pronouns, ask. They will not bite and no one will say anything if you got it wrong the first few times. But to refer to someone the wrong way when their pronouns were front page news a few months ago does NOT look good.

I can't with people justifying misgendering someone as if it was a matter of "wokeness". It's a matter of sympathy, civility, and understanding.

Not really.   The pronoun thing is relatively new, people are used to looking at someone and calling them he or she.  If he wants his being non binary to be referenced in his pronouns, cool, sure.  But it's not really a big deal if someone just doesn't know or forgets.  It's not like Shawn Medez is someone looking for trouble or wanting to demean someone for using by wrong pronoun.

I didn't actually reported them, I just said I would so I just wrote reported on the comment lol People won't get mad at you when you misgender them or use wrong pronouns, however Sam's pronouns are known to the general public and they were big news. It's weird for him to do that, but if it was a mistep I could understand. He has to apologize tho because we don't know what this does to Sam.

The wokeness part comes in where you report someone for not agree with you that there was some sort of major infringement here.  Or how you re-write history as if people are coming at non-binary people.  It's ridiculous.  And boring.

How are you gonna say 'cool, sure' after misgendering them three times in once sentence Can't tell if you're deliberately doing that or not. If it's a deliberate choice, then you're clearly not cool with it.
