Following Apple, Samsung Will Not Include Charger

It’s only been a few months since Apple stopped bundling a power adapter with the iPhone 12 series, except for these handsets sold in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Samsung looks to follow the same pattern. According to a new documentation filing, the Korean giant won’t be bundling the charging accessory with the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, or the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

However, one place where Samsung might be forced to provide a charger with the Galaxy S21 series in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Since Procon-SP, Sau Paulo’s consumer protection agency requires Apple to sell a charger with all iPhone 12 models; it could force Samsung to do the same.

i honestly dont get the fuzz about the charger issue. Smartphones have been around for over a decade now, I've got a minimum of 10 chargers lying around and even more USB cables so im deffo not in need for yet another piece of plastic i wont use

the company should not assume everyone has old charger at home, and I'm paying that much money, how dare they are not providing earphones and chargers ! Also, if we bought fake charger, it damages our phone or can even cause fire

lbr how many people do not own at least 1 charger? maybe a total of 3 grammas or grampas who just bought their first smartphone, but theyre honestly neglectable

Samsung are still providing earphones, right? But I agree with the charging adapter. The same can be said for older ones. The older they are, the likely the chance of it catching fire. I would rather get a new one and that way I know that the risk is extremely low since its a new one.
