Just maybe. It helps with waterproofing, and broken ports are usually second to broken screens. Then they'll proceed to remove speakers so we buy wireless speakers for the iPhone. But... The icons are perfectly fine. Do you remember when IOS 7 came out with new icons and everyone was weirded out cause they looked too colorful and childish? There’s a reason most of us don’t back up to iCloud because we don’t want Apple having access to every piece of data on our phones or to get hacked like so many others have.
