Was it the lyrics? The tempo? The beat? Was there a different expectation? Yes. All of the above 🤣 I need an updated version of LAMB & TSE... TIWTTFL wasn't bad but I feel like used to love you was what could have been a great break up album but then she met Blake and scrapped everything just to make music about puppies and rainbows, which isn't bad but nobody's buying an album full of puppies and rainbows 🤷♂️ it's just honest, but I have to admit based on the comments I was expecting this to be really bad and it wasn't it was just beige. Not good not bad but something you'll only wear once to someone's shitty wedding 🤣
Esteban 2,300
The lyrics are unbearable but the melody is listenable and the production is ok It reminds me of Lowlife by Poppy, but less good..

You actually listen what you didn’t like. I don’t think it’s an amazing song but my comment was about vague criticism and how many a reason or two can validate that criticism. Gwen is royalty but this.. ain’t it. Yeah... this is the song she's been hyping for the last few days. Idk if it's the first official single or if they're just testing the waters since, to my knowledge, she hasn't announced an album. fka butthole

Not good not bad but something you'll only wear once to someone's shitty wedding 🤣 I didn’t have high expectations for it once I learned Ryan Tedder co-wrote. I think his songs are generic. I love Gwen and think Truth was her weakest album including ND albums. This song is just okay but I don’t expect it to be a huge success. In all fairness, her singles after “Sweet Escape” (song) weren’t great. “Yummy” deserved to be a single, “Now That You Got It” was a filler that didn’t deserve to be a single. Noah 26,933
I think that she‘s just testing the waters with this one, what do people want from her, how is radio liking her, how are the streams etc. A real official Lead Single during the height of Christmas would be very weird, so i‘m sure this is just a lil moment ⟡ ⋆ ˚。⋆🦢⋆ ˚。⋆⟡

Reject False Icons 4,751
I love the ska/reggae Gwen it gives me No Doubt vibes This is not What you waiting for? Level of epicness and perfection but it’s a great appetizer for the new project, I’m so glad she’s clarifying she is still the same cause the last 4 years have been pure Joanne, and I thought she’d never comeback to her first sound
