The key to achieving a Jenny from the Block-worthy glow is… Olive oil.
"Whenever my hair, skin, or nails were dry, I'd go back to olive oil," JLo explained via a Zoom press conference.
"It's a natural ingredient that's been a secret of mine and my mum's for so long."

“My mom used to say that olive oil was the cure-all for everything,” referring to her JLo Beauty Olive Complex, a blend of squalane, fermented olive oil, extra-virgin olive oil, and olive leaf extract.

The multihyphenate's eight-piece skincare collection launches on January 1, and includes a cream cleanser, multitasking serum, "wonder cream," sunscreen, eye cream, masks, complexion booster and a dietary supplement. “Everyone fought me hardest on the supplements,” Lopez explained of her once-daily capsules. “But skin care doesn’t work without boosting what’s going on inside."

I wouldn’t ever dare to use olive oil on my face or hair. My skin/hair is oily to begin with.

Don’t play with me, it just hurts me.

Right?! I don’t even put lotion on my face because I hate the feeling of an oily face. My hair & face are naturally oily so I have to wipe my face twice a day to help.

This may not apply to y’all, but excess oil on your skin/hair may be a symptom of over-dryness. Sounds a bit counterintuitive, but adding a good oil to your skincare/hair care may actually help reduce oiliness.

Sooo she uses oil on her body? I'd breakout overnight...I already have oily skin naturally so that wouldn't help me lol

Right now all I do is wipe down my face in the morning & night with all natural witch hazel. That’s it. I don’t wash my face & I don’t use any alcoholic products that might dry me out. My dermatologist gave me this extremely simple regimen & it’s actually helped a lot. I don’t get breakouts anymore & I'm able to manage the oil with witch hazel. I get what you’re saying though, sometimes in an effort to control oil we dry ourselves out causing more oil production.

OLIVE OIL?!

I can’t think of a worse oil to put on your face. Breakouts incoming in 3...2...

Like olive oil is literally comedogenic and can be a breading ground for bacteria on your face.

How crazy do you have to be to sell/buy this stuff? Ew

Not only it have a comedogenic rating of 2 but i have a feeling she will try to sell it on her new skin care line like some timeless expensive elixir and ppl will fall for it.

That's why different skin types need different regiments

My skin is also very oily and greasy. I'm 27 going on 28 and I still get some acne pimples on my arms, shoulder and back and on my face I don't get pimples anymore but still get a sh*t load of blackheads constantly from the constant clogging of my pores

I try to moisturize more now in addition to cleansing and find it's helping a little but all my moisturizers have to be oil free

Lmao my family is the same but with argan oil. Less dry hands? More voluminous hair? Less acne? Natural glow? Check check check check.
