AURAOFSHEISSE 6,515 Posted December 6, 2020 Share Posted December 6, 2020 If Gaga were to come up to me and tell me she’s only doing one more album/era and ask me what I want from her, I would have to say I want a hyper experimental electro-industrial ,dark version of ARTPOP. The production would have to be killer and when I think of killer production I think Sophie,imagine two powerhouses like Sophie and Gaga and what they could create, I just want Gaga to go crazy and have the most fun with a project ever. As for aesthetic I’m just thinking of like liquid metal,black and blue,silver color scheme lots of spikes and metallic outfits. Super creative BTW style art films maybe even a visual album like Black is king. The writing would be super dark like TFM. Long track list like BTW and maybe even wordless sonic landscapes as overtures.If she released a project like this, like a fully realized artistic vision I would never ask for anything else and be satisfied for life.That’s all sry it was so long . Bjork-like ultra modern ballads (imagine a lead single as bold -and moving- as Hyperballad or Pagan Poetry), Roxy Music-esque jazzy glam production, T.Rex sort of pop sensibilities (and maybe some short songs like Metal Guru or Hanging On The Telephone -great for streaming without sacrificing artistry), a touch of Kate Bush, George Michael’s Older, a Babylon-type of exotic song to represent Gaga’s universality and her otherworldly escapism, NIN but also quite vocals, and Ray of Light. But most definitely with a fresh and unexpected sound. A heavy album in experiment and sound without intimidating the ones who felt lost with the arrival of the holy Born This Way. A seriously edited album, it has to be. Not a filler. No more songs like 1000 Doves or Come to Mama. The album has to be bulletproof. Narrative-wise I would love to see her message-free (I am so done with preachy popstars), free in general, autonomous and bold. And fashion more androgenic and a bit trippy. Plus a Cocteau movie -type of avant-garde dreaminess. And and and no mor than two producers. Just her and another visionary diving deep into their creativity. Let her top every years-end list. She must reach to her full potential as an artist and prove her point of being more than a popstar. Sophie is great but her contributions for other artists sound sort of bland.
