No thanks. Kill it. Fry it up medium rare. There is nothing wrong with eating meat.

RAMROD

So meat made from soy beans or mushroom ia not enough? I blame this to the vegans, they will be the ones eating these anyway. :bradley:

Lots of people will still eat actual meat regardless, and as for me, even if I have to grown and butcher it myself. :classy:

Do you want me to post videos of animals being slaughtered? :yennefer:

How else can you eat meat? Meat consumption isn't bad. Shooting animals for sport or trophies is barbaric.

I don’t get how someone can be against this :laughga:

It’s the same as eating meat except without the brutalities, ecological destruction and forced labour of animal agriculture.

Win-win for both meat eaters and vegans. What’s not to support? :laughga:

Some people get a kick out of seeing innocent animals suffer. Makes them feel superior in some way.

"Anyone" gurl? :ladyhaha:

Comments like this makes you're POV a joke. It's not even correct English, and it thrives on double entendres and sensationalism.

Sustenance is not pleasure.

So that's what you got from my comment. So what, English is my second language and someone else corrected your English. You didn't seem to care enough to correct it, because you were happy with the play on words.

Edit. See that, I had to correct okay to play.  It happens.

I'm a meat eater, but the thing with the meat industry is that it's one of the most devastating industries to the environment as food, land and massive amounts of drinking water are required to grow cattle/farm meat. Cultured meat (what this article is about) is a possible opportunity to shift away from this while producing meat identical to what you'd get from killing an animal

I'm not sure about this. Im a flexitarian, and I eat plant based most of the time, with exception eating real chicken from time to time but the thought of a lab grown meat kinda turns me off and sounds unhealthy. I know what ur gonna say, equally unhealthy to eat meat, except that with meat you have irons, proteins things that sustain you and is difficult to replace with something else unless you are an expert or seek the advice of a nutrionist.

Cultured meat is identical to meat you'd get from killing an animal because its literally a process of stimulating cell growth from a very small group of cells taken from an animal (without harming them), in fact it's argued that it's healthier because it's produced in a sterile environment vs raising animals in a factory or on a ranch where disease and other issues can arise.
