I was higher up in the graphic like top 17 out of 100. I am an essential worker that worked throughout the pandemic and still am, and am now high risk due to asthma. I am blessed to be this high up

yeah it looks like it, my husband just got a mail about it and that he will be among the first to get because he's a teacher at the uni.

The want to open education asap globally so teachers will be among the first.

Given I'm (somewhat) young, non-essential worker, student, etc., I don't foresee getting a dose until at least summer next year (to be sure, the elderly, essential workers, and high risk groups should so get a vaccine before people like me).  But do we think people will follow through with two inoculations if needed, though?

Tbh, I'm just really scared to get anyone else sick by being asymptomatic or get myself sick and then have a likely lifelong preexisting condition.

I hope folx continue to wear masks (I know I will be doing so -- especially during flu season and probably beyond when in public).  Maybe we will figure out new work-life balances (e.g., Why commute into work if you can work from home?).

Fingers crossed this pandemic changes the way of life for Amuricans.  I really am disappointed in my fellow citizens' reactions, as most the world has seen, I'm sure.  I don't like the damage it has caused but I appreciate the lessons learned and the hypocrisy it has illuminated.  Stay safe and healthy, ya'll.

I wouldn’t trust anyone who says they are going to have the vaccine until you see it with your own eyes.
