Oscars (and most awards) are all about presence, narratives, and campaigns. Realistically, she would probably be aiming for a Summer release before Gucci comes out. Having her name attatched to a (hopefully) successful and acclaimed album around the same time when Oscar season starts would seep into her Oscar odds and only help her. Stuff like this happens fairly often with awards. For instance, there's a whole thing with the Emmys where recent Oscar winners tend to have better odds. Edit: Imagine she's in the middle of Oscar campaigning and a single blows up into a big hit or the Grammy noms come out and she got a ton including AOTY.
