Avideo has emerged of a Proud Boys follower describing that he is "kinda dumb" and too "stuck in his ways" to change when questioned about his views at a protest by the far-right group.

The clip was posted by activist Vixxy Vyohr, who was covering a demonstration by the Proud Boys in Denver, Colorado on Saturday, November 21, which was backing the baseless claims that Donald Trump lost the election to Joe Biden because of widespread voter fraud.

In the footage, the man, who hides his face with a Proud Boys mask, describes to a 17-year-old that he is "kinda dumb" and doesn't "really research much" and instead lives "by the kneejerk."

"I just think and move like a f*****g dog," he adds.

The video has been widely shared and viewed tens of thousands of times on social media.

And apparently he's proud of it lmao...

I don't think he's proud. He seems lost and confused. He also sounds extremely depressed. He should be seeking help from a mental heath professional instead of hanging with a bunch of white supremicists

I'm not coming for you in any way but I don't think you should make a statement that puts white supremacy in a place alike with mental illness. I know you didn't specifically say THAT, but this discourse points toward it and it's not really fair to mentally ill people. Plain stupidity is not the same with mental illness.

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

It was a couple years ago now, but a reporter for NPR went to some white power rallies and interviewed people. Basically these groups target young men like 18-25 who are lonely, angry, isolated, etc., and act super accepting. For some people it really is like the first time they've ever felt accepted.

That's actually how groups like that function: Find people that are looking for acceptance or acknowledgement and give it to them, all the while constantly edging the person further and further into their ways of thinking. The victim of it is happy they aren't alone/ignored anymore that they don't even notice what's actually happening. The ones like this guy are particularly sad because he sees what's really happening, but he's so afraid of going back to that unaccepted/ignored life that he just goes along with it.

Many of them need mental professional help. Many others need to be better educated so they aren't completely ignorant, evil and stupid.

They need mental professional help because clearly, something is mentally wrong with them.

Is this guy really dumb, or is he just making fun of the interviewer ?

This level of intelligence is actually on par for Trump cultists.  They are not smart enough to fool most interviewers. Watch some videos on YouTube. It's sad, but hilarious of how unaware and completely ignorant they are.
