I’m skeptical about the effectiveness and safety as I’ve heard it typically takes a while for vaccines to be tested HOWEVER if enough scientists and medical professionals endorse it, I will gladly take it. I’m ready for COVID to be over. I hate seeing small businesses suffer, families and friends stay apart, and judgements from anti-maskers and hermits alike. 
 

edit: I should clarify that I typically fall into the “hermit” camp but I’ve made a FEW exceptions over the last 9 months and I’ve seen many people on social media equate seeing friends as being a total POS who doesn’t care about others (regardless of safety precautions that are taken).

I’d about y’all but I’d much rather die due to the vaccine (which is extremely unlikely) than die of the virus itself (I’m high risk) , besides if the whole world is taking it, there should be some credibility

I’m not sold on the safety of the vaccine, especially because of the rate that they’re rolling it out. It’s literally called Operation Warpspeed, doesn’t seem like anything I’d want to throw in my body.

As for my “blinded visions,” I am aware that antibodies only last between 2-6 months, I am more leaning on my T/B cells to fight off the virus if I’m te-exposed until we arrive at some sort of herd immunity. Those last MUCH longer than the antibodies (2-3 years in the case of some viruses), and the re-infection rate for COVID has been extremely low. 

I’m not an anti-vax person AT ALL, I just don’t trust how quickly this has been rolled out. Just sharing my perspective

There are other non-first-world countries that need it more though, plus I am sure the fact that the US is receiving it first isn't because we have a turd as a President and the virus isn't nowhere near to being controlled, but because the Government and private contractors have the money and influence to do so.
