The album is not good. There are a thousand people who make similar music who do it far better. She's just celebrated cos she's not doing normal pop. 😩 if it wasn't taylor who released it you should ask yourself if you really would like it as an album...

Yes, I would.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

I'm commenting because people seem to be obsessed with celebrating mediocrity because it comes from a person they like. Hayley Williams', The Weeknd's, Bob Dylan's, and Rina Sawayama's albums are all a million miles better. And before you try to paint me as someone who only likes regular pop music you should know I have a broad range of taste (pretty much most things except screamo and rap). The album is bland, dull, and the lyrics are average. She doesnt emote with her voice AT ALL. The melody is uninspiring and simple. It seems she just went for a melancholic sound for the whole thing with no peaks and troughs.

But if you like that sort of thing, go off I guess...

I prefer SAWAYAMA and Chromatica but can very much appreciate the critical acclaim folklore has received :applause:

Wet Fire

Good for her. :vegas:

I preferred Chromatica and Sawayama. Folklore needed more variety in its melodies. It's too prosaic for me.

In my opinion...

1. SAWAYAMA

2. Future Nostalgia

3. After Hours

4. Folklore

5. What's Your Pleasure?

PG.
