The ousted Recording Academy executive whose allegations of voting irregularities and other improprieties at the organization have called into question the integrity of the Grammy Awards said turmoil was the last thing she ever wanted. “The ceremony is about the musicians and the fans. I don’t want to taint that,” Deborah Dugan, 61, said Saturday in an interview from her home in Santa Monica. “This is about the Recording Academy. The Recording Academy must change. He is the most known male star, Blinding Lights has been EVERYWHERE and the critical praise was huge, same with Chromatica. We have to realize that the recordign academy decides nominees and winners according to personal views and standpoints, when really they should hire a music expert to analize deeply things that has to do with MUSIC, that is what the awards are for, not just for this -> "mmm this is trending, so lets give them the award, mmm wait no this one has way to much, SCRAPPED" Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Those are facts and everyone thinking otherwise is delusional. She wasn’t even snubbed in 2012 when BTW lost to Adele. Adele had better record. About Weeknd I agree. I don’t know why people even care about the GRAMMYs LOL, the fact that albums like 25 and 1989 beat iconic albums like Lemonade and HTPAB just show how racist the academy is....not to mention people like The Weeknd can’t even get a nomination The SCAMMYs are corrupt, god forbid they awarded Macklemore for best rap album over Kendrick, no one should give any credibility to this award show, they’re stuck in 1970 and have no idea what music is relevant today. Just because it is her highest rated album doesn’t mean she was snubbed or something. Rain On Me was successful for a month and then nothing. Let’s just look at this objectively please.
