(After Hours is an incredible album. The only criticism I have is that it can get repetitive, but still... Definitely good enough for Grammy's AotY. Was it too atmospheric for them? This is SO bizarre. Even as someone who doesn't follow him closely, I think he absolutely deserved a number of noms -- not just based on charts/popularity/success but also genuinely meriting them! Good music, maintaining an era of MVs and performances with a running theme and storyline, lots of effort to promote and perform, revitalizing the men in pop music scene... WTF

And did they think their audience wouldn't pick up on how glaring an omission this is? He's well known to the GP now and just got announced for the Super Bowl Halftime Show... How are they gonna pretend they don't see him? Gross. And weird!

This is absolutely unfair. Not only the album was hugely impactful, but it has also many good songs. I don’t remember such an unfair snub in recent Grammys.
