As I said earlier, due to the amount of releases this year, having two noms is fine! I'm completely shocked for The Weeknd. I def should've seen Black Parade coming, the events that occured during the year would def have some impact they are going to get a lot of sh*t for snubbing The Weeknd!!! These awards don't deserve to be in the EGOT. I'm not even mad on Gaga's behalf (she's got a lot of Shammys already), but this just the worst year that I can remember. Blinding Lights was THE song of 2020, and I was like, ugh, he's going to have a Bruno-like sweep, but no one could deny he had a huge year, he deserved something, especially SOTY. The Weeknd with no nominations is so confusing. This man arguably had a more successful year than a lot of nominees. Blinding Lights still not dying off the charts. Was he campaign not good enough?
