I believe legally, November 1st marked the expiration of whatever clause was holding her back from re-recording anything from Taylor Swift - 1989. So she should be able to re record any song she wants from those albums (I don’t have the contract so I can’t say for sure the specificities, but I believe it’s everything). 
 

it just leaves me questioning if she’s going to re record every song or just the hits/fan favorites.

She's definitely going to re-record the entire albums. She clearly doesn't want Scooter to make money from it anymore.  + she said there would be some suprises, maybe some unreleased stuff or different versions

By the time she's finished re-recording her first 5 albums she will be able to re-record the 6th one too. So yes, all of her music.

I know she doesn’t want Scooter to profit any way from it, and I’d be super excited if it’d be the entirety of every album but that’s so many songs  (Red by itself had 16 (regular release) - 22 (deluxe) songs) 

 

I do know that if there is someone that can do it, it’s Taylor. I am excited for all the surprises (looking at you 10 min version of All Too Well 👀)

Yup that's definitely a crazy lot of songs but I guess it will be faster than we think. All she has to do is record vocals and send them to the producers and they'll do the work

she can rerecord everything except for reputation which i think she'll be able to do after either this year or next, i remember there's a certain amount of time she has to wait per album and only rep cannot be done at this time but i imagine she'll be releasing them far enough apart that the wait for rep won't matter

i'm glad that she finally has confirmed she's doing all of her music, some people hypothesized she may just be doing highlights or a greatest hits sort of thing.
